+ Zoom Whitening

The biggest advantage to in-office whitening is that in just one visit, you get the most advanced whitening results.

+ Extractions

If a tooth has been damaged through decay or some kind of injury, your dentist may try to fix it with a filling, a crown, or other treatments. However, if too much damage has occurred and the tooth can’t be repaired, then the tooth needs to be extracted. Tooth extraction is when the tooth is completely removed from its socket in the bone.

+ Crown

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that completely covers the visible portion of a natural tooth above the gum line. Their purpose is to restore the natural tooth’s shape and size, strength, and to improve its appearance.

+ Orthodontics

Whether your teeth need major alterations or just need to be shifted slightly, South West Dental Care has what you need. Our doctors have years of experience administering orthodontic treatments to help patients with misaligned bites, and crooked, crowded or irregularly spaced teeth. No matter your age or your budget, we have a treatment that can give you the smile you deserve!

+ Periodontics

Periodontal treatments are used when you have developed gum disease. Gingivitis is the most common form of gum disease and can be reversed with professional treatment and good oral habits at home. If gingivitis is left untreated, it can turn into Periodontitis, which is much more serious and could even cause you to lose your teeth. South West Dental Care offers several services used to help repair gum disease, including Scaling and root planing, tray delivery systems, gum grafting surgery, laser treatment for gum disease, dental crown lengthening, dental implants and pocket reduction procedures. We know that we can work together with you to solve your periodontal issues and preserve your smile.

+ Removable Dentures

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and the surrounding tissues. You can choose complete dentures for when all the teeth are missing, or partial dentures for when a few natural teeth still remain. Your dentist will makes a series of impressions and take measurements of your jaw to cast a test denture, then assess its color, shape and fit before creating the final denture.

+ Restorative

No matter how well you take care of your teeth, you may end up needing one of our restorative treatments. Whether it’s because of a traumatic injury or dental disease, we are here to help restore the beauty and function of your teeth! Our restorative treatments include fillings, caps, dentures, bridges, implants, root canal therapy and more. At South West Dental Care, you can feel confident that your smile will look and feel as good as ever!

+ Mouth-guards

There are many reasons to wear a mouth guard, and not all of them have to do with flying soccer balls. Athletic mouth guards are a great investment for those who are involved in sports and could potentially make contact with a ball, the ground or another player. Dental injuries can be extremely painful, expensive and time consuming to correct, so wearing an athletic mouth guard to protect and prevent such an injury makes sense. Others may need occlusal splints, bite splints or night guards to help protect their teeth from night time clenching or grinding, which can cause wear, tooth fractures, headaches and neck aches. A mouth guard can also offer protection to the sensitive tissues in your mouth if you wear braces. If you need a mouth guard for any reason, our office would love to custom make one that will fit you comfortably and protect you when you need it!

+ Root Canals

A root canal repairs and saves a tooth that is badly decayed or has been infected. The nerve and pulp of the tooth are removed, then the tooth is cleaned and sealed to prevent further decay and infection.

+ Bridge

A dental bridge is made up of two anchoring teeth on either side of a gap these are called abutment teeth. Inside the gap sits the false tooth, called a pontic, which can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials. Adversely, a dental implant can be used to replace multiple teeth without the support of adjacent healthy teeth. Implants are fused to the jawbone and become a permanent fixture, lasting a lifetime with little maintenance required.

+ Implants

A dental implant is a surgical component that interfaces with the jaw bone or the skull to support a dental prosthesis such as a bridge, denture, crown, or facial prostetisis
